  • this should be in the sims 4 mac section of the forums, but it's fine. you don't open it with anything: what you do is go to documents > electronic arts > sims 4 > mods and drop the package files in that folder. unless what you're trying to do is open a .zip or .rar file to get the .package files out, then you need to download a file archiver like 7zip.

  • If you cannot/don't know how to unzip files to make them .package I use a free downloadable app called 'Keka'
Once you've unzipped the cc files they should be within Finder>Downloads>Today and drag the file(s) into the 'Mods' folder and if you don't know how to do this follow what @DakotaSims said ^^^

  • Hi, sorry if this doesn't belong to this forum, I'm a total newb. When downloading community-designed houses from the sims gallery, where are they saved? How do I install them to my game?
  • They should be saved in your downloads folder until you unzip them.
