Removing the Blur in The Sims 2
While you are playing the game, press Control+Shift+C. A small field appears at the top of the screen. This is where you can enter cheat codes.
Enter 'intprop censorgridsize 0' to turn off the nude blur. This removes the blur and makes your nude Sim look a bit like a Barbie doll. No explicit details are shown.
If Step 2 did not remove the blur, go to the Simsky website (see References) and install 'See Them 2.31.' This is a small program that is reputable and easy to use. It will install the Sims nude patch and offers a few other game modifications.

Download a Sims 3 nude patch. In Sims 3, there is no simple cheat code for nude Sims. A good place to download is The Pirate Bay website (see References). Its patch works on both PC and Mac.

Copy the downloaded file to the correct folder.
On the Mac, open Finder. In Applications right-click on 'The Sims 3.' Select 'Open Package Contents.' On a PC, open Explorer and look for 'C:Program Files/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/GameBin.' The downloaded file is called Shaders_Win32.precomp.
Make a copy of the file currently on your computer and place it in another directory. This gives you a backup file in case something goes wrong.
On the Mac, drag the downloaded file into /Contents/Resources/transgaming/c_drive/Program Files/Electronic Arts/The SIms 3/Game/Bin/.' It will replace the current file. On the PC, copy the file into the GameBin directory listed in Step 2. It will replace the current file.
Tips
To get a more detailed nude Sim, more than the cheat code offers, you have to download 'skins' created by other gamers.
Warnings
You can download many different game mods or patches for the Sims 2 and 3, including the nude patch. This can cause instability and the possibility of having to reinstall your game. Sims games change as they are updated, so some patches and cheats may not work with your version or with your expansion pack.

Unfortunately, this means that every top and bottom in the game is available for the career outfit, even the nude top and nude bottom.

Thank you! I usually just have her change her outfit to Everyday or Outerwear and that fixes the problem - There are plenty of mods, both in the NRaas collection and from elsewhere, that are fairly intrusive to gameplay. But MasterController is not really one of them. It doesn't actually do anything to or for your sims until you use some of its commands that are just standing by waiting to be called upon. It's the same with DebugEnabler.
It is admittedly a complex set of commands that it adds, so I understand players being suspicious of it when something unexpected happens in their games. Not meaning to pick on @Missa_Sissa so mercilessly, but wish I had a Simoleon for every time that poor mod got blamed for something it really can't be the fault of.

Our new site is at http://nraas.net - I have very rarely had my Sim not dress after skinny dipping or showering - usually when I queue up another action or interrupt to have him do something else. It's a funny occasional glitch.

Another Sim was changing her hairstyle and not adding her clothes or censor after each shower. None of the sims in the household noticed. It seemed she thought she was wearing clothes. I think I reset her eventually and that fixed the problem.
